Virginia Woolf's Night & Day

Based on Virginia Woolf’s funniest novel, Night & Day follows passionate astronomer Katherine Hilbery as she does everything she can to avoid romantic love and marriage. Her bold challenge to Edwardian patriarchy is set against the suffragette movement and advances in science and technology. Fun and contemporary in tone, a refreshing film that showcases an ensemble of humorous performances in 1910 London that is as relevant to today as it ever was: women balancing love with careers!
